Riomaggiore Mosaic

We took the hike from Manarola to Riomaggiore, commonly known as “The Lover’s Walk”. It is a real simple paved pathway that takes about 15 minutes. This was the easiest of all the hikes between the towns. Riomaggiore was the 3rd largest of the 5 towns. There was some shops, restaurants, and boat rentals here. While not as steep as Manarola, Riommagiore does has it’s fair share of hills, though conveniently, there is a public elevator that you can access if you have the cinque terre card (available at the tourist centers). You can avoid the hills and see the town going downhill. We had a few great meals here as well as picked up some snacks. If we had more time, I would have loved to rent a boat and travel between the towns via boat since there seems to be some hidden areas between the towns only accessible through the water.
