Is it just me or do other people do this?

I have a tried and true tested method of picking delicious apples. I have tried this method on granny smith’s, red delicious, fuji, and many more and each time I get a delicious apple.

Here’s the method. You lightly flick the apple and listen to the sound it makes. The sound must make a middle thudding tone with a deep, rich sound, like a gentle tap on a dense piece of wood. If it is too low then chances are it is overripe. If it is too high then the apple is a little underripe. The hard part is training your ear for that right tone. The other hard part is looking like an idiot flicking all these apples at the supermarket.

YMMV.
